shanna's update

Shanna asked me to add an update entry for her because she just doesn't have the time or the emotional bandwidth to write one right now.

Last week she was called back to Washington to be with her mother. They have released her from the care of the Cancer Care Alliance and have sent her to a hospice in her home town of Sequim. Her cancer is out of remission and they have only given her a few weeks to live.

Shanna seems to be in as good of spirits as she can be right now. Her brother and sister are both out there and they are all supporting each other and their mom as best they can. She covets your prayers and good thoughts right now. I'm just praying for peace on her family as they go through these final days together.

Her life has been so upturned these last few months, and she is really missing her art and the blogging community, but other matters have taken up all of her time. I'm sure she will be checking her comments and getting back to us when she has the time.

Please continue to think about and pray for her and her family. That is really the only thing we can do right now.
